About this file
This document contains questions from the Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service Marketing and Regulatory Programs Business Services regarding hazardous waste disposal services. The agency is seeking information on contractors' capabilities to dispose of a wide range of hazardous materials including chemicals, contaminated equipment and soil, waste oil, pesticides, biological and pharmaceutical wastes, and unknown substances. Contractors are asked to specify their ability to provide containers, labor, and transportation to dispose of these materials in compliance with applicable regulations at various disposal sites. Additional questions focus on pricing models, subcontracting practices, geographical coverage, references from similar projects, and any issues pertaining to hazardous waste disposal that the agency should consider. The long-term goal is to award multiple contractors five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts for hazardous waste disposal beginning in fiscal year 2024.
