The U.S. Air Force 509th Contracting Squadron at Whiteman AFB, MO is posting this Sources Sought to find potential vendors to accomplish the redaction services in accordance with the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated 21 January 2025.
In addition to selecting “add me to interested vendors” button, responses are to be sent via email to SrA McGuckin at morgan.mcguckin@us.af.mil, SrA Ortiz at naiya.colon_ortiz@us.af.mil, and Lynn Duchene at lynnann.duchene@us.af.mil by 11:00 AM CST, Thursday, 11 September 2025. Please include the Sources Sought Identification Number or title in the subject line of the email submission.
SUBMISSION DETAILS:
• Requirement Information: FY26 Merlin Bird Bash o North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 811210 (Electronic and
Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) SBA Size Standard: $34,000,000.00
• Please read the attached draft PWS thoroughly then provide a capabilities statement specific to this need.
• Please answer the following questions:
o How long would this take you?
o How quickly could you start?
o What are your concerns on this project that may not have been addressed?
o What areas of the draft PWS could be more clear?
o Is there a NAICS Code you would recommend as a better fit?
o Please recommend additional considerations not taken into account on the draft PWS.
• Offeror questions are due 11:00 AM CST, Thursday, 11 September 2025.
Please include the following information in your response/narrative:
- Company name, address, and point of contact, with email address and phone number
- CAGE Code and/or Unique Entity Identification (UEI) number
This Sources Sought (SS) is in support of market research being conducted by the United States Air Force (USAF). This market research is being conducted to increase competition for this requirement by identifying potential sources and to gauge small business interest to determine whether or not this requirement can be satisfied with a Small Business Set-Aside.
The Government will use the information gathered through publication of this SS to determine the best acquisition strategy for this requirement. The Government is interested in all potential sources including Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a) businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, etc.

Potential sources shall be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities and equipment required to accomplish the redaction services in accordance with the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated 21 January 2025.
