The government anticipates procuring three 120-foot straight/telescopic boom lifts and eleven 80-foot tracked (crawler) boom lifts. The requirement is classified under NAICS code 532310 (General Rental Centers). Operators are not required, but vendors must provide delivery to and pickup from the designated Brownsville site, including all freight, mobilization, and demobilization costs. Vendors are responsible for routine maintenance and prompt replacement of inoperable units. All equipment must meet applicable ANSI/OSHA standards and current safety inspection requirements.
Based on market research responses, the government may set aside the requirement for small businesses in full or in part, or procure through full and open competition. Multiple awards may be made, and all small business set-aside categories will be considered. Interested vendors must electronically submit responses to Contract Specialist SSG Jarrett Gillium at jarrett.m.gillium.mil@army.mil in Microsoft Word or PDF format. Responses must include firm information, small business status and certifications, capability statements, prime or subcontractor designation, previous experience on similar requirements, pricing information with basis, delivery schedules, warranties, and recommendations for structuring the contract to facilitate small business competition. This is an informational market research notice only; responses are voluntary and non-binding, no funds are available for response preparation, and responses will not be returned. The government will synopsize any formal solicitation (RFQ, IFB, or RFP) on the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE).
