This is a Sources Sought announcement issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District, for tree removal services at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. The project involves clearing all trees greater than 3 inches in diameter at breast height from approximately 1 acre of inclined rock face located below Thayer Hall on the West Point campus. Trees must be felled between November 1, 2026, and March 30, 2027, cut flush to ground as practicable, and hauled offsite for disposal. The rock face rises over 100 feet vertically in places and ranges from vertical to approximately 1 vertical to 1 horizontal slope. This announcement is issued to assess interest, availability, and capability of both small and large business concerns and does not constitute a request for proposal or a solicitation mailing list placement. The results of this survey will remain in effect for one year from the date of the notice. Contractors should direct inquiries to the New England District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, located at 696 Virginia Road, Concord, Massachusetts 01742-2751, or visit www.nae.usace.army.mil for additional information.
