About this file
This document is a Sources Sought Notice for a potential future contract to dry dock and perform repairs on the S/V DAMRELL, an aluminum, hydrofoil assisted, catamaran survey vessel. The work consists of dry-docking the S/V DAMRELL and performing the repairs and other work described in the technical specifications. The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, materials, tools, and facilities necessary to complete the work. The contractor should propose an all-inclusive cost for each CLIN and provide a minimum one-year warranty on all parts, products, and workmanship. Due to the sensitive nature of the vessel's hull-mounted transducers and hydrofoil arrangement, the vessel can only be hauled out using a marine travel lift. Responses are requested by April 12, 2021 with information on the contractor's capability, experience, and business size/classification. This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment by the government to award a contract.
