About this file

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a firm fixed-price contract issued by the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department for Potable Water Pumps in support of Carrier Strike Group Four. The requirement is designated as a sole source award to Carver Pump; however, any potential contractor capable of demonstrating qualified performance to required standards may submit a competitive capability statement through SAM.gov. All prospective awardees must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment, with the exception of foreign vendors performing work outside the United States. Lack of SAM registration will render a vendor ineligible for award.

The acquisition is classified under NAICS code 336611 (Ship Building and Repairing) with a size standard of 1,300 employees, and the product service code is 1915 (Cargo and tanker vessels). Supplies must be delivered 30 days after contract award. This announcement serves as the only solicitation, with quotes requested rather than a formal written solicitation issued. Prospective vendors should direct all questions and quotes to Lauren Markle at lauren.a.markle.civ@us.navy.mil or 757-237-8850, or Chris Whiteside at Christopher.d.white1@navy.mil or 757-443-0780. Vendor registration information is available by calling 1-999-227-2423 or visiting http://www.sam.gov.
