About this file

This is a Sources Sought document issued by AFLCMC/WBK (Air Force Life Cycle Management Center) for the B-1B Lancer Digital Antenna Electronics (DAE) Upgrade.

The Government seeks to identify potential sources and industry capabilities to provide a Digital Antenna Electronics unit compatible with the GAS-1 Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (CRPA) P/N 01-01664 for the B-1B Lancer aircraft. The proposed DAE must provide resilient, highly accurate navigation and timing capabilities for operation in contested, GPS-degraded, and GPS-denied environments, and must fully process and support M-code GPS encryption modes while adhering to strict Size, Weight, Power, and Cost (SWaP-C) constraints. This is market research only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal, Request for Quotation, Invitation for Bid, or solicitation commitment to contract. The Government will not pay respondents for information provided.

The Government requests capabilities packages from vendors of all business sizes, including socioeconomic programs (8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses). Responses must include a cover letter, company business size and status information, teaming arrangements, and qualification information demonstrating ability to meet requirements with sufficiently qualified personnel. Responses must be submitted in PDF format, not exceeding 15 pages (excluding cover page), with technical descriptive text and photographs/illustrations. The deadline for responses is 3:00 PM CDT on September 11, 2026. All responses must be unclassified. Inquiries should be directed to Cory Milford (cory.milford@us.af.mil, 405-739-4489) or Michael Acree (michael.acree.8@us.af.mil).

SOURCES SOUGHT

B-1B Lancer Digital Antenna Electronics (DAE) Upgrade

OBJECTIVE:

The B-1B Lancer requires resilient, highly accurate navigation and timing capabilities to operate effectively in contested, GPS-degraded, and GPS-denied environments. The Government is exploring options for a modernized DAE that bridges the GAS-1 CRPA with current and future navigation systems and be able to fully process and support M-code GPS encryption modes while adhering to strict Size, Weight, Power, and Cost (SWaP-C) constraints.
