This is a sources sought notice issued for market research purposes to identify domestic sources or equivalent products capable of providing the supply described below. Potential offerors are invited to provide feedback via e-mail to Erskine.Shoulars@va.gov . Responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition.
Potential contractors shall provide, at a minimum, the following:
1) Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, authorized distributor information, & delivery time of equipment.

3) Provide a brief capability statement (Max 5 pages) with enough information to determine if your company can meet the requirements. The capabilities statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a Request for Quotation, Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather the Government is requesting a short statement regarding the company’s ability to provide the equipment outlined below. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities statement. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation.
The Department of Veterans Affairs Buffalo VA Medical Center intends to award a made in America item(s) for the purchase of Automatic Opposing Swing Doors manufacturer or distributors of small business manufacturers, and/or large businesses of equipment for the following:

(5) If you’re a small business and you are an authorized distributor/reseller for the items identified above or an equivalent solution, do you alter; assemble; modify; the items requested in any way? If you do, state how and what is altered; assembled; modified?
(6) If you intend to subcontract any work on this contract, what portion of the total cost will be self-performed/will be performed by your organization? Please provide estimated detailed percentage breakdowns related to subcontracted work and completion of the job.
(7) Does your company have an FSS contract with GSA or the NAC or are you a contract holder with NASA SEWP or any other federal contract? If so, please provide the contract number.
