About this file

This is a Sources Sought notice issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Strategic Acquisition Center Frederick for market research purposes regarding a National Cancer Testing Solution requirement. The document explicitly states that this is not a formal solicitation and does not commit the government to contract for any supplies or services. Responses are voluntary and strictly for planning purposes to inform future acquisition decisions. The government will not accept unsolicited quotes, proposals, or bids in response to this notice, nor will it reimburse any costs incurred by respondents.

Interested vendors are requested to provide business details including company name, point of contact information, UEI number, and business size classification. Respondents should describe their core competencies and explain why their organization is suitable to meet the 2026 NPOP Complete Disease Coverage requirements, recommend appropriate NAICS or PSC codes if different from the announcement, and detail relevant experience with similar-sized projects. The notice also requests information on GSA Federal Supply Schedule contracts or other VA ordering vehicles applicable to the requirement, commercial availability and pricing data (including basis for pricing such as market or catalog pricing), delivery schedules, standard terms and conditions, and warranties. Vendors must indicate whether they intend to compete as prime contractors and identify any subcontracting arrangements, joint ventures, or teaming agreements. All questions and responses must be submitted via email to designated government contacts, with phone calls explicitly prohibited.
