Respondents must also possess Oregon Department of Agriculture certifications in botany, pesticides, agricultural herbicide, silviculture/forestry, and public health and safety as well as regulatory weed control.

Sources Sought:
The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region, requires invasive and noxious vegetation control IPM on its lands located in Crook County, Oregon.
This posting shall not be considered as a request for quotes, nor as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of the contractor’s response to this posting or the Government’s use of such information.
No contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement. Data submitted in response to this
RFI will not be returned.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
The principal component of the work includes: prescribed burns, purchase and application of herbicides, treatment of targeted lands and species, technical guidance to irrigation districts in dam treatment, removal of wood vegetation, safe storage of herbicides, treatment of in-water invasive species, and annual reporting.
A significant portion of the work consists of consultations between the vendor and Reclamation cooperating/managing partners such as irrigation district and park district personnel. The consultations consist of facility noxious and woody vegetation surveys, plant identification, spraying and other application techniques, equipment calibration, product selection, product storage, application timing, and application reporting.
The period of performance is anticipated to include a 12-month base year period, and four 12-month option periods.
