DESCRIPTION
mailto:Cmohamed@usbr.gov
The Bureau of Reclamation Denver Contracting office is seeking sources within a 200-mile radius of New Melones Lake Facility, CA.
The New Melones Lake Facility is equipped with a gravity fed potable water system in the Glory Hole Recreation Area. The water tank is fed by two wells a few hundred yards away. These wells are normally controlled by an electrical interface that automatically starts and stops them via a pressure transducer inside the tank. The system is no longer working as intended and both wells can only be turned on or off manually at the wellhead. The intent of this project is to replace the dated electrical interface with a modern unit that will restore the auto-start and stop functions necessary to keep the water tank at the appropriate level. The new electrical interface should also be provisioned with an option to allow the operator to override the system and manually top off the tanks when required, such as before a scheduled power outage.
This requirement is estimated to be under $25,000.
