About this file

This Sources Sought Notice is for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeking to lease approximately 6,815 rentable square feet of existing medical space in Lafayette, Louisiana. The solicitation (No. 36C25626Q0104) is open until 10-30-2025 at 15:00 Central Time, with the VA interested in a 10-year lease (5-year firm term) for an outpatient clinic and staff operations. Key requirements include 50 on-site parking spaces, full-service lease, compliance with fire safety and accessibility standards, and location outside the 100-year flood plain, with the property situated within specific geographic boundaries in Lafayette.

Interested parties must submit expressions of interest via email to Javar.Whittington@va.gov by 3:00 PM CST on 10/30/2025, including building name/address, space specifications, contact information, and proof of active SAM.gov registration with a Unique Entity ID. The VA emphasizes that this is not a formal lease proposal, but a market survey to identify potential sources, and they are not obligated to award a lease based on responses. The procurement is for administrative space, with the VA currently occupying a soon-to-expire lease in the same area and considering alternative locations if economically advantageous.
