The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 08, Malcom Randall VAMC, (NF/SGVHS) located at 1601 S.W.

Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608-1197 is looking for certified, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small business, and/or other than small businesses sources for the following:

Perfusion/Autotransfusion Services to eligible beneficiaries of the NF/SG VHS. The Contractor’s physician(s) care shall cover the range of Perfusion/Autotransfusion Services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion http://www.abcp.org

The Contractor shall propose a minimum of _4_ key personnel to be credentialed and be available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the contract.

The VA Full Time Equivalency (FTE) for the Perfusion/Autotransfusion services required is four (4 Full Time Equivalent Employees (FTEEs) which consist of three (3) Perfusionists (2080 hrs. each) and one (1) Autotransfusionist (2080 hrs.).

The number of Board Certified Perfusionists required to be on site on a daily basis is 1-3 (3 will be on site during regular business hours, while 1 is required to be on call at all times).

The contractor’s employees and any subcontractors shall have all licenses, permits, and certifications as required by law and this contract.

All Perfusionists and Autotransfusionist shall be certified with at least a minimum of ten (10) years of experience. All Perfusionists shall be a graduate of an accredited Allied Health Education Program School of Perfusion Technology and shall be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion, demonstrate evidence of meeting continuing education requirements and shall have performed a minimum of 1000 clinical cases. Experience shall be demonstrated in the following areas: Open heart surgery, autotransfusion, heart lung machine, membrane oxygenation, left/right heart bypass, intra-aortic balloon pumping and centrifugal ventricular assist device.

This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements, please provide written notification to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) days from the date of the publication of this notice. SDVOSB or VOSB must be certified and verified in the U.S.

Department of Veteran Affairs, Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization, Vendor Information Pages (VIP) web site located at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.

Only responses from authorized representatives of the firm will be considered.

Responses are due by 06/02/2020 4:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time (EST). The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621399. Business Size Standard is 8 million of dollars.
