STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES (SOO)
MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE HANGAR 198 HYDROBLASTER REPAIR
PROJECT BACKGROUND
The 366 Fighter Wing at Mountain Home Air Force base is operating under a single indoor system to wash the Wing’s fleet of F-15 Aircraft. As this represents a single point of failure for Aircraft washes, the Government is seeking to refurbish three (3) Hydroblaster brand hot water pressure washing units that were used in the past and have since fallen into disrepair. Photos and serial numbers are located in Appendix A below. The exact current state of functionality of the units are unknown. As such, the Government will allow and encourages prospective bidders to request an on-site visit to better assess the requirements. To request and schedule an on-site visit, please contact the following individuals:
Primary POC: Carmela Hornbeck Carmela.hornbeck@us.af.mil 208-828-6477
Secondary POC: Mr. Eric Nagel Eric.Nagel.3@US.AF.MIL 208-828-3115
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The Government’s intent is to allow for creative solutions to be provided by industry rather than for the Government to dictate a solution. At the conclusion of the project, the Government expects to have three refurbished and functioning Hydroblaster pressure washers complete and ready for washing functions.
Prospective bidders shall return to the Government a written Statement of Work (SOW); detailing the extent of the work that the bidder’s solution will require. The SOW shall also contain broken out price lists of required parts and labor as well as a schedule for the work to be completed. Contractor format is acceptable.
