1 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

1.1 Introduction

In today's fast-paced and constantly evolving work environment, organizations are under increasing pressure to maintain high levels of productivity, complexity, and agility while also adapting to changing work arrangements. One area that has become more important than ever is the ability to prioritize schedules and tasks effectively, to communicate between peer organizations, and to mitigate burnout. Effective prioritization and communication are critical to the success of any organization, as they help ensure that resources are used efficiently, that team members are able to collaborate effectively. Burnout mitigation ensures team members can sustain high performance.

At Air Combat Command (ACC), we recognize the importance of providing our staff with the training necessary to enhance their skills and knowledge in this area. As the demands on our staff continue to grow, it is essential that we provide them with the tools and strategies necessary to prioritize their time and communications to effectively support our overall mission.

The training program will focus on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of scheduling meetings and tasks by covering a range of topics and best practices such as diagnostic prescreening, distinguishing between high-value and low-value tasks and meetings, determining the proper communication tool and audience, transitioning from “playing email defense” to meaningful work, and fostering agility, creativity and strategic vision.

The program will consist of multiple, in-person, two-day workshops to be conducted at Langley Air Force Base for 150-200 trainees. Each workshop will have no more than 30 trainees. The workshops will provide participants with interactive training, practical tips, and best practices to help them improve their scheduling and meeting management skills. In addition, the Contractor will provide an all-hands virtual wrap-up event to mark the completion of the program and reinforce the key lessons learned.

Through this training program, we aim to equip our staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively schedule meetings and tasks, manage their time and communications more efficiently, and support our overall mission.
