STATEMENT OF NEEDS
For
Bowling Center Lane Conditioning Machine
1. GENERAL
1.1 The 14th Force Support Squadron’s Bowling Center is seeking to replace the lane conditioning machine. The Statement of Needs (SON) provides an overview of the specifications and requirements for the purchase of lane conditioning machine that will clean and condition the bowling lanes, lengthening the life of the lane surface and comply with Air Force standards.
2. GENERAL SCOPE OF NEEDS
2.1 Lane Conditioning Machine
2.1.1 Zero turn radius lane-to-lane walking function with smart processor auto-align memory
2.1.2 Sanction technology conditioning system
2.1.3 Auto-aligning lane whiskers
2.1.4 Residual oil burns out quickly for easy pattern changes
2.1.5 Test input/output menu option
2.1.6 Detailed error messages
2.1.7 External battery charger
2.1.8 Sprayless cleaning system
2.1.9 Object detection
2.1.10 Automatic burn pair
3. GENERAL INFORMATION
3.1 Contractor shall furnish conditioning machine to the bowling center located at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi.
3.2 The contractor shall install conditioning machine and related supporting equipment to include battery charging units. The vendor shall provide all operational training, programming and maintenance to bowling center employees.
3.3 The contractor shall contact the bowling center manager to arrange delivery/installation of conditioning machine.
4. SUBMITTALS
4.1 The contractor shall submit quotes for review.
5. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES
The contractor will provide all equipment necessary to provide the equipment. The government will not supply any equipment, parts, or labor in support of this procurement.
