REQUEST FOR QUOTATION

Visual Upgrade at the Entrance of @America

I. SCOPE OF SERVICES

This solicitation seeks quotes to upgrade and enhance the exterior visual presence and initial entry point of @america ---the U.S. Embassy’s American Center---located on the

3rd floor of Pacific Place Mall in Jakarta. Prices should include labor cost for repair works, equipment and material, administrative, overhead and profit.

This solicitation is to revitalize @america’s image and reputation as a forward-looking, technology rich venue for its target audience. The solicitation seeks to make significant, non-structural changes to the main entrance (exterior) and security hallway (interior hallway up to the end of the existing mural) to enhance the look and feel of @america by leveraging technology combined with innovative and creative digital assets.

The project must align with the Embassy’s vision to create a welcoming, visually appealing and technology rich space that provides a forum for people-to-people interaction and the promotion of the Indonesian-American relationship. A major goal of this project is to elevate the visibility of @america in PPM, create a more inviting impression at the Center’s entrance and security hallway, and to leverage technology and innovative content creation to promote the programs, workshops, activities and events offered at @america.

The current entry façade is located in a publicly accessible shopping mall but has changed little since the Center’s opening almost 14 years ago. This project should grab viewers’ attention, attract visitors and audience members with compelling digital images and/or interactive elements, and provide a warmer, more welcoming entrance to

@america. Similarly, upon entering the facility, all visitors pass through a hallway leading to the Security Area. One wall includes a mural that dates back to the opening of the Center, the other a small glass case with mementos from the U.S. As the first impression of a visitor inside the Center, these artifacts are now dated and obsolete for our target audience. In this phase of the project, the hallway should be updated and modernized with the use of digital technologies. For both elements of this project, it is important that the solution provided is not static but can be changed or modified easily to best address the evolving needs of the Center.

II. PRICING The Contractor shall provide a firm fixed price in Rupiah for the scope of work:

• Provide a visual plan to enhance the look and feel of the main entrance to

@america using visual communication technologies. This could include, but is not limited to, the use of digital projection, digital mapping, 3D technologies, LED monitors and interactive technologies.

• Provide and install of any needed hardware/software required to execute the visual plan and any associated or supporting hardware/software related to the project’s execution. Including all cabling and supporting systems.

• Provide non-structural changes required to effectively and accurately implement the visual plan. This could include, but is not limited to, removing any non-structural elements that are inconsistent with the effective execution of the visual plan.

• Remove any equipment and/or debris associated with the execution of the visual plan.

• Provide training to local support staff on the use of any new hardware/software associated with this project.

III. SUBMISSION OF QUOTE. Each offer/quotation must consist of the following:

A. Completed Section II.

B. Proposed Time Schedule

IV. EVALUATION FACTORS

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer or quote. The evaluation process shall include the following:

a) Compliance Review. The Government will perform an initial review of proposals/quotations received to determine compliance with the terms of the solicitation. The Government may reject as unacceptable proposals/quotations which do not conform to the solicitation.
