About this file

This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a multiple vendor Cost Per Reportable Result (CPRR) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Automated Chemistry and Immunochemistry Instrumentation at Indian Health Service (IHS) facilities in the Great Plains Area of North and South Dakota. The solicitation seeks technically acceptable vendors to provide laboratory analyzers with a base year and four one-year option periods, covering 12 healthcare facilities including hospitals and clinics. The contract requires vendors to supply clinical laboratory instrumentation capable of performing over 60 different analyte tests, with estimated annual test volumes ranging from 20 to 24,000 tests per facility.

Key contract terms include a firm-fixed-price structure, comprehensive maintenance service, and all-inclusive pricing covering equipment use, reagents, supplies, calibration, quality control, and training. The solicitation is unrestricted, with a NAICS code of 325413 and a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. Proposals are due on December 2, 2025, at 12:00 pm CT, with an intended contract period from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2030. The vendor will be responsible for providing, installing, and maintaining analyzers that meet specific technical requirements, including random access capability, barcode support, specimen processing features, and comprehensive data management systems.
