About this file

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) from the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division for the manufacture of Gage 5777024 Rev C. The solicitation is a firm-fixed-price procurement requiring the vendor to manufacture and assemble a specialized gage with tight tolerances for the Measurement Science Department. Key requirements include being certified to AS9100 and/or ISO 9001, and being located within a 30-mile radius of NSWC Corona Division to facilitate in-person collaboration and complex inspection requirements.

The contract specifies a 90-day delivery timeline from award date, with NSWC Corona Division conducting the final inspection and acceptance. The basis for award will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA), with the contract awarded to a single vendor who fully complies with solicitation terms and offers a fair and reasonable price. The solicitation emphasizes the need for precise manufacturing and collaboration, particularly for a gage with complex geometric and inspection requirements that demand close interaction between the vendor and NSWC engineers.
