Bidders must provide pricing for mobilization and demobilization, dredging services measured in hours (ranging from 87 to 792 hours depending on region and dredge type), dredge towing services (30 miles), preparatory work for each region, and optional bird nesting prevention measures. The contract uses firm fixed-price arrangements for all line items, with multiple optional dredging quantities available. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Sealed offers are due by 27 May 2027 at 10:30 AM local time at the KO Contracting Division, 7400 Leake Ave, New Orleans, LA 70118. The contractor must begin performance within 5 calendar days of receiving notice to proceed and complete all work within 30 calendar days. Performance and payment bonds are required. An offer guarantee is mandatory. The procurement is unrestricted, subject to availability of funds per FAR 52.232-18. Bid opening will be established by amendment. The contracting officer is Jeffrey Sprunger (504-862-1631). All offers must be received by the specified deadline with a 60-calendar-day minimum acceptance period for government evaluation.
