About this file
This is an Amendment of Solicitation document for Weaponeering Courses issued by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). The amendment modifies the original solicitation to extend the response due date from 15 Dec 2025 to 09 Jan 2026 and adds a detailed Statement of Work (SOW) for training courses. The government requires four (4) Introduction to Weaponeering courses and one (1) Advanced Weaponeering course during Fiscal Year 2026-2027, to be delivered by Professor Morris R. Driels, who is specified as the sole qualified instructor.
The courses will be conducted with a maximum of 30 students per class, running from 0800-1600, with options for in-person or virtual attendance. The Introduction to Weaponeering course will cover topics including weapon delivery accuracy, warhead lethality, and target vulnerability, while the Advanced Weaponeering course will focus on specific techniques for targeting personnel, buildings, bunkers, bridges, and collateral damage concerns. The contractor must provide course materials and books, coordinate with the technical point of contact to schedule training, and be prepared to travel to one of three potential facilities in Dahlgren, Virginia for course delivery.
