About this file
This is a Sole Source Notice document related to the State of Oregon's procurement of the SyTech Smart Bug System. The notice indicates that Oregon intends to award a contract for this specialized pest management monitoring system on a sole source basis, eliminating the standard competitive bidding process. The SyTech Smart Bug System represents a specific technological solution for pest detection and monitoring that the state has determined meets unique requirements that cannot be adequately fulfilled by alternative vendors or products currently available in the market.
The sole source justification reflects Oregon's assessment that the SyTech Smart Bug System possesses distinctive capabilities or features essential to the state's pest management operations, making competitive procurement unnecessary. The notice serves as public disclosure of the state's intent to proceed with a non-competitive award, allowing for any potential protests or challenges to the sole source determination within the specified timeframe before contract execution. Specific details regarding contract term, pricing, funding source, and implementation timeline would be contained within supporting procurement documentation accompanying this notice.
