About this file

This document is a Memorandum of Notice of Intent to Sole Source issued by the 60th Contracting Squadron of the Department of the Air Force at Travis AFB, California. The memorandum announces the intent to award a sole source contract for Honeywell Control Upgrades for six specific buildings (Buildings 31, 39, 50, 179, 381, and 7690) at Travis AFB. The justification for sole sourcing is that the existing systems in these buildings are Honeywell-specific, requiring Honeywell equipment for upgrades.

The solicitation includes a Procurement Category (PCS) Code Z2AA for Repair or Alteration of Office Buildings, with a closing response date of 30 August 2025. The contract will be awarded under FAR 6.302 authority, allowing the government to negotiate with only one source. Interested parties may identify their capabilities, but the government retains sole discretion on whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The point of contact for questions is Contract Specialist SrA John R. De Pedro, who can be reached at john_rexter.de_pedro@us.af.mil or 707-424-1793.
