SYNOPSIS - NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

1. Identification of Agency and Contracting Activity:

2. Description:

**This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract to: SBG Technology Solutions Inc.**

GSA intends to issue a sole source contract using statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements” to SBG Technology Solutions Inc. located at 1737 King St. Ste 601. Alexandria, VA 22314-2727. The contractor shall continue to provide engineering support services for the Space Systems Command (SSC) for no longer than a period of one year. This action will result in a single Cost Plus Fixed-Fee type contract.

The United States Space Force (USSF) has an organizational-wide approach to mission accomplishment by selecting responsive, performance focused, responsible suppliers with fair and reasonable pricing that will satisfy the stated requirements in time. The USSF goal is to meet requirements, deliver warfighter capabilities, reduce costs, and reduce administrative burdens in response to evolving USSF requirements.

SSC, as part of USSF, is responsible for the effective planning, acquisition, management, administration, and sustainment in execution of resources for all programs within its portfolio. The Center acquires systems with capabilities to exploit space and provide Combatant Commanders the capabilities they need to guarantee space superiority for our nation.

The resultant contract shall provide a broad range of Narrowband Satellite Communications (NBSC) support capabilities for this Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) with the capacity and capability to provide the full range of engineering and logistics of space-related research, development, test, production launch and sustainment activities. The support will span portfolio architect, production corps and enterprise corps executed in multiple geographical locations.

This requirement is for one (1), three (3)-month base period with three (3), one (1)-month option periods, which are varied in duration by the Contracting Officer (CO). Contract options will be exercised if determined to be in the best interest of the Government.

GSA is creating a contract with SBG Technology Solutions Inc. to provide for continuity of services while a new long-term contract is solicited and awarded under the GSA OASIS contract vehicle utilizing NAICS 541715 - Research and Development in Space Vehicles and Guided Missiles, their propulsion Units, their Propulsion Units Parts, and their Auxiliary Equipment and Parts.
