PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR
Mechanized Material Handling System Maintenance, Joint Base MDL, New Jersey, 08641
The 87th Contracting Squadron, JBMDL, New Jersey intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with LODIGE U.S.A. INC. (CAGE: 4MYL4), as the only responsible source that can provide preventive maintenance & repair to the cargo mechanized material handling system (MMHS) previously installed by Lodige, USA, located at JBMDL, NJ under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The contractor shall perform quarterly preventive maintenance on the cargo mechanized material handling system. The contractor shall ensure the MMHS system is certified in accordance with the manufacturer technical specifications, including all updates, following the preventive maintenance and repair process with a Period of Performance that will be one 12 month base period with four 12 months options.
The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811310 with a Small Business Size Standard of $11.0 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, interested parties having Lodige, USA proprietary rights may identify their interest and will need to submit technical data, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same service. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice shall be limited to three pages and submitted to Contract Specialist, Jasmin Rankins (jasmin.rankins@us.af.mil), and Contracting Officer, Edward Sherwood (edward.sherwood@us.af.mil). Responses are due no later than Monday 5 June 2023 by 2pm Eastern Standard Time. Any questions may be directed to the points of contact listed above.
