About this file

This is a Sole Source Public Notice issued by the City of Salem, Oregon, for the procurement of Cured-In-Place Liner Repair Kits. The notice, first published on May 25, 2023, identifies LMK Technologies, Inc., of Ottawa, Illinois, as the sole prospective contractor for this five-year contract. The anticipated award date is June 1, 2023. No specific quantities, site visits, or bidders' meetings are detailed in the notice.

The annual contract value is $220,000. The City has determined that these goods are available from only one source, justifying the use of a sole source procurement method under the City's adopted Public Contracting Rules. An affected person may protest this determination by submitting a written protest to the City Manager's office within seven days of the first publication date, accompanied by a certified or cashier's check for $500 to cover processing costs. The protest must include detailed legal and factual grounds, supporting evidence, a description of resulting harm, and the relief requested. Protests submitted after the seven-day deadline will not be considered.
