About this file

This document is a Sole Source Notice from the Oregon Department of Justice (DOJ) regarding the department's intention to contract with Compass Resolutions to provide mediation and restorative justice training courses for up to twenty-eight participants per course. The DOJ, through its Crime Victims Survivor Services Division, will utilize Compass Resolutions' services to conduct two 32-hour mediation courses and one 16-hour restorative justice course. The courses will provide DOJ grantees with tools and practical experience to act as impartial third-party community violence interveners, focusing on both preventative and restorative interventions.

The DOJ has determined that Compass Resolutions is the sole source capable of providing the required services, based on the unique nature of the need and Compass Resolutions' exclusive ability to meet it. Copies of the agency's Determination can be requested through OregonBuys, and any protests to this notice must be submitted through the same platform prior to the closing date.
