About this file
This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract issued by Clackamas County, Oregon for the provision of visitor information services. Clackamas County intends to award the contract to Clackamas Heritage Partners based on their unique location, site amenities, and supplied staffing capabilities that are deemed necessary to meet the county's special needs and qualifications. The contract is anticipated to expire on December 31, 2023, representing a one-year and approximately nine-month service period from the notice date of March 8, 2022. The protest period for the sole source determination extends until March 15, 2022 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time, with protests to be submitted to the Procurement Contract Analyst, Ryan Rice, via email at rrice@clackamas.us.
The total contract value is $124,200.00. The sole source award was made in accordance with Clackamas County regulation LCRB C-047-0275, which permits procurement through non-competitive methods when special circumstances warrant such an approach. The determination indicates that Clackamas Heritage Partners' existing operational capabilities and physical location provide advantages that cannot be readily replicated by other potential vendors, justifying the absence of competitive bidding for this service contract.
