About this file

This document is a sole source justification for awarding a contract to TrillaMed LLC for temperature, humidity, and pressure monitoring system services at the James J Peters VA Medical Center in Bronx, New York. The services required include 24/7 remote technical support and annual sensor calibrations for the Emerson-Cooper Atkins TempTrak monitoring system, which is used to monitor critical patient care areas and ensure medication, supply, and vaccine storage integrity. Market research found TrillaMed to be the sole authorized distributor for Emerson-Cooper Atkins equipment support services, with no other qualified vendors identified. The anticipated one-year contract value is $364,746. The sole source award is justified under the VA's authority to award contracts to verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
