About this file
This document is a Sole Source Determination Memo for the Oregon Health Authority, Oregon State Hospital (Agency) to purchase Bioxide Odor Control Sewage Treatment from Evoqua Water Technologies LLC. The Agency is seeking to purchase Bioxide products, including Bioxide delivered in 4,000-gallon shipments, as part of the sewage treatment system at the Junction City Oregon State Hospital to prevent sewage odors. Evoqua Water Technologies LLC is the sole source provider of these proprietary Bioxide products, which are required for the Bioxide Plus 71 Chemical Feed System installed at the Junction City facility. The total estimated contract value is $100,000.
The findings support the sole source determination pursuant to ORS 279B.075(2)(a), as the efficient utilization of the existing Bioxide Plus 71 Chemical Feed System requires the acquisition of compatible goods or services from only one source, Evoqua Water Technologies LLC. Evoqua holds the relevant trademarks and patents for these products and is the sole supplier. Any protests to this sole source determination must be submitted by 3:00 PM within seven calendar days after the first date the notice is posted on Oregon Buys.
