Sole_source_ABB_HVAC_Drives-_Stan_Weaver_2026.pdf

This is a letter of authorization from ABB, a manufacturer of HVAC drives, establishing Stan Weaver & Co. as the exclusive HVAC Drives Representative for the Tampa and Orlando, Florida markets. The letter, dated February 15, 2024, authorizes Stan Weaver & Co. to sell and service specific ABB drive models—the ACH580, ACH550, ACS320, and ACS880—across fifteen Florida counties: Brevard, Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia. This authorization establishes Stan Weaver & Co. as ABB's sole authorized partner for HVAC drives in this geographic region and product line.

The letter serves as documentation supporting a sole-source procurement for ABB HVAC drives in Florida. As the exclusive authorized representative, Stan Weaver & Co. would be the appropriate vendor for state and local government entities seeking ABB drive products and services within the specified counties. This authorization provides the justification necessary for sole-source procurement decisions, eliminating the requirement for competitive bidding when ABB drives are specified and the geographic territory falls within Stan Weaver & Co.'s authorized service area.
