About this file
This document is a Quick Quote issued by Collier County's Redevelopment Areas Division for Solar Roadway and Residential Street Lighting. The solicitation seeks vendors to provide solar-powered street lighting solutions for roadway and residential areas, with specific technical requirements including meeting Florida Building Code 2023 Hurricane Wind Load standards, dusk-to-dawn operation, 4000k color temperature, and pole heights between 18-25 feet. The quick quote was released on August 26, 2024, with questions due by September 3, 2024, at 12:00 PM and response submissions required by September 5, 2024, at 9:00 AM through the county's online bidding system. The procurement is structured as a one-time purchase with firm pricing for the duration of the purchase order.
The pricing proposal requires vendors to submit unit prices for roadway and residential street solar lighting, with the county planning to select the responsive vendor with the lowest quote. Vendors must provide comprehensive lighting solutions including solar panels, batteries, battery enclosures, foundation anchor bases, and brackets, along with installation and operating manuals. Insurance requirements are detailed, including worker's compensation, employer's liability, commercial general liability, and automobile liability, with specific coverage limits. Vendors must also provide warranties, demonstrate compliance with various technical standards, and be prepared to provide evidence of insurability within five days of award.
