The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) has a requirement to procure Micro Motion Coriolis - Elite Meter Sensor CMF300M355N2BAEZZZ, 3-inch stainless steel, with a Model 3700 3700A1A05DAEZZX 11452 Series 3000 Transmitter-multivariable/discrete controller.
The Bureau Land Management utilizes these meters for Large Air Tankers (LATs) under the Forest Service Airtanker contracts that are required to be loaded with fire retardant (slurry) using a mass flow metering device. Micro motion is currently the only approved meter for our application. The meters measure; Mass Total, Density, Average Density, Temperature, and date/time.
