About this file
This is an addendum to a sealed proposal solicitation issued by the Town of Killingly, Connecticut for sodium bioxide delivery services to the Killingly Water Pollution Control Facility (KWPCF). The original solicitation requested proposals for the supply and delivery of sodium bioxide under Free On Board Destination terms, with delivery to the KWPCF located at 31 Wauregan Road, Killingly. Proposals were due July 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Town Engineer's Office, 172 Main Street. Questions regarding the solicitation were due by July 3, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Prospective bidders could contact the Water Pollution Control Facility at 860-779-5392 or wpcf@killinglyct.gov for inquiries. Specifications were available for examination at the Killingly Engineering Office, the Town website, and the CTSource portal.
Addendum No. 1, dated June 16, 2026, modifies the bid requirements by eliminating the bid bond requirement. Section B-B.3 of the original bid documents stated that a bid bond was required; this addendum removes that requirement, and no bid bond is to be submitted with proposals. Payment terms are to be specified by the vendor. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities and technical defects, and award to the lowest responsible and qualified bidder at its sole discretion. The solicitation does not specify quantities or provide an estimated contract value.
