Solicitation Number S-MX530-15-R-0025 Questions and Answers

1.

Q – Provide the three year premium history which is critical to determine the insurance loss ratios. The loss ratio is based on the 'amount of claims paid' to the 'amount of premiums collected'. This ratio is instrumental in ascertaining the premiums. It is an industry standard practice to use this metric for premium computation. While the solicitation documents contain the claims history there is no mention of the premium history.

With the current information in the solicitation we cannot develop accurate life insurance premiums because there is no established relationship between employee age, gender, and salary.
