Information regarding vendor site visit/walk-thru at Peterson AFB, CO:

Date: 27 May – 28 May 2020

Time: 9am – 1pm (for both days)

Due to COVID-19, only one (1) representative from each vendor will be allowed to attend the site visit.

RSVP by sending the name and contact information of the attending individual no later than 4:00pm Mountain Time on 25 May to blaine.terry.2@us.af.mil. No accommodations shall be made for late responses.

Attendance at the site visit is highly encouraged, but completely voluntary. The

Government shall not compensate any respondent (or any associates/subs) for any costs incurred as a result of attendance, cancellation of forthcoming RFQ, natural disasters, travel restrictions or any other reason.

IAW FAR 37.110 (a) - Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contact performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.

Vendors need to arrive at the West Gate Visitor Center NLT 8:00 am on 27 May to be processed for a base entry pass. You will need to bring inside your driver’s license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. If driving a rental car, your rental agreement paperwork will suffice as proof of registration/insurance. Passes should be good for both days so there won’t be a need to arrive early on the second day.

o Visitor Center Address: 1334 Stewart Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80914

IMPORTANT: All personnel entering Peterson AFB (including the Visitor Center) are required to wear a cloth face covering or mask that covers the nose and mouth when they cannot maintain six feet of physical distancing.

o Please review and familiarize yourself with the Attachment 1 - Face Covering

Guidance and Attachment 2 - Entry Control Point (ECP) Memo, as these will be strictly enforced.

All questions from site visit shall be submitted in writing to Contract Specialist, blaine.terry.2@us.af.mil and Contracting Officer, sheri.burks@us.af.mil. All questions and answers will be posted to beta.SAM.gov.
