Solicitation No.S-IT700-15-Q-00017 Elevators Maintenance Services Rome, Italy Questions and Answers
| 1)Q | Ref Section 2.2.1 Standard Services - Prices: I do not understand the elevators load test pricing. |
| 1)A | We are required to perform one load test on each elevator once every 5 years – As per Section 1.0 Scope of Work, 6 load tests will be performed each year with the exception of the last year, when only 3 load tests will be performed. You have to fill-in only the Unit Price and the Annual Total per each year. |
| 2)Q | We understand we have to obey to the security procedures each time we need to access the Embassy compound – Is the procedure to access into the residences simpler? |
| 2)A | It is simpler, but you still need to coordinate the access through the COR. No access will be allowed anywhere without prior advance notice and COR approval. |
| 3)Q | Can you provide more details about the procedure to get the badges for the Contractor’s personnel? |
| 3)A | Section 3.2 “Personnel Security” describes the procedure. We can add the suggestion to ask badges also for surplus personnel - to be used in case of sick/annual leave - so to avoid the risk of lacking cleared personnel. |
| 4)Q | Are you going to provide the Contractor with a storage area within the Embassy compound to keep spare parts and consumables available on site? |
| 4)A | No, we are not. |
