About this file

This document is a Notice of Intent to Award Single Source for a QuakeLogic bi-axial shake table to be used by the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC). The Air Force's AMIC Det 2 OL/PKA Contracting Squadron at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, intends to award a single-source purchase order to QuakeLogic, Inc. under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), citing the company as the only source capable of meeting their specific requirements due to unique technical features.

The shake table offers distinctive specifications, including a 100 kg payload capacity at 1g acceleration, +/- 100 mm stroke, and a 20 Hz maximum operating frequency. Key technical features include low-friction precision linear guides, an integrated safety limit switch, a bi-axial MEMS accelerometer, fully enclosed design, IP-based remote-control functionality, and proprietary EASYTEST software. Interested parties may submit responses electronically by 12:00 PM EDT on 4 April 2025 to laytesha.batchelor.1@us.af.mil, with the government reserving discretion to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on received responses.
