Lloyd’s List Intelligence SeaSearcher is a maritime database that allows analysts to research vessel details including ownership, flagging history, registration information and AIS positional data.

Other - Only one source is capable – NOAA Fisheries Office of Law Enforcement requires the continued use of Lloyd’s List Intelligence SeaSearcher database. Lloyd’s MIU is an international maritime industry source that provides various types of vessel information relevant to specialists in international fisheries. Investigative Analysts use this database to research and monitor vessels of interest in investigations. SeaSearcher offers vessel data and particulars including IMO number, MMSI number, call sign, vessel type, registered owner, port of registry, commercial operator, technical manager, tonnage, construction data, dimensions, insurance information, hull details, machinery and casualty, modification and repair data. Lloyd’s provides company data including address, website, fleet statistics, company roles and offices. Lloyd’s also allows users to search for vessels by place such as a specific port.
Lloyd’s provides movement data including real time automatic identification system (AIS) positional data which allows analysts to access the latest reported positions of every AIS equipped vessel within the coverage area. AIS data includes vessel name, time stamp, lat/long, vessel flag, IMO, MMSI, type, destination, ETA, nearest place and speed. Users can also see calls, passings and sightings data when available.
