About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for interior floor refinishing at C72 BLDG 9509, located at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The project involves approximately 2,500 square feet of concrete floor surface and excludes the server room. The contractor is required to provide labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to completely remove existing coating, repair surface imperfections, and apply a high-performance epoxy primer and finish system.
Key project specifications include surface preparation through diamond grinding, applying a polyurethane basecoat, broadcasting acrylic chips for aesthetic and slip-resistant properties, and applying a topcoat for UV protection and wear resistance. The project is to be completed within 14 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with daily progress reports required. The contractor must maintain general liability and workers' compensation insurance, and the work will be subject to Davis-Bacon Act wage requirements. A warranty of five years is specified, covering issues such as chipping, peeling, delamination, and UV stability. The project involves refinishing multiple rooms including the conference room, kitchen, bathrooms, and office spaces with a tan finish with black and white acrylic chips.
