About this file
This document is a Sole-Source Determination and Justification for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) to procure a 5' Rotary Screw Trap Cone from EG Solutions, the sole manufacturer of Rotary Screw Traps. ODFW requires this component to maintain the operational status of their current Rotary Screw Traps, which is necessary to meet their contractual obligations. The procurement is for a single purchase to replace a non-functional component on an existing Rotary Screw Trap. The estimated cost is redacted. ODFW has determined that EG Solutions is the sole source for this product based on their exclusive manufacturing capabilities for over 30 years.
The sole source procurement will be awarded to EG Solutions and will be limited to the specific 5' Rotary Screw Trap Cone required. There is no competitive solicitation, as this is a sole source award pursuant to Oregon Revised Statute 279B.075 and Oregon Administrative Rule 125-247-0275. The contract will be for the delivery of the Rotary Screw Trap Cone to ODFW's East Region Fish Research facility in La Grande, Oregon.
