About this file
This is a sign specification document from the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks detailing requirements for their 2025 Annual Walk-In Area & GPA Sign Order. The document outlines specifications for various outdoor signs in three sizes (10"x14", 12"x18", and 6"x10"), all requiring .125 ga thick high-density linear polyethylene construction with UV inhibitors, silk-screened legends, and a urethane clearcoat. The order encompasses 25 different sign types with varying quantities ranging from 25 to 750 units per design, including Walk-In Area signs, Game Production Area signs, directional signs, and regulatory signs. All signs must be delivered by May 1st to various regional offices throughout South Dakota.
The project is divided into two billing categories: Walk-In Area program signs (Items A-K, X & Y) to be invoiced to Mark Norton in Pierre, SD under comp 2029 account 52055400, and Game Production Area signs (Items L-W) to be billed directly to respective regional offices under separate project codes. Each sign type specifies background colors (white, red, yellow, orange, or blue) and must include proper logos and artwork as illustrated in the provided plates. All signs must be guaranteed against fading, bleeding, or clearcoat flaking for at least 3 years under normal outdoor conditions.
