About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Laboratory Division, Evidence Response Team Unit, for Security Identification Gear and related services.
The FBI seeks market research information from vendors capable of supplying apparel items (footwear, shirts, pants, shorts, gloves, and outerwear), alteration services, embroidery, silk screening, 3M reflective material, gear bags, and a custom e-commerce website. Vendors must demonstrate capability to deliver items within 30 days and provide services including garment customization via embroidery, Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) logo application, silk screening, heat-transferred reflective material, and Direct to Film printing. The website must support 24/7 access with functionality including allotment management, bulk ordering, order history tracking, dual user account types (standard and administrative), product categorization, inventory status updates, approval chain workflows, and email notifications to approving officials. Vendors should possess or be able to establish a GSA Schedule and indicate their standard business size classification.
Responses must be submitted by Close of Business Friday, May 15, 2026, to Kayla Haley, Contracting Officer, at Knhaley@fbi.gov. The RFI explicitly states this is for market research and planning purposes only; responses are not offers, no funds are available for response preparation, submission is voluntary, and the FBI has no obligation to issue a subsequent solicitation or award a contract. Vendors should provide company information, business size, GSA Schedule status, product specifications, and feedback on evaluation criteria or innovative approaches rather than proposals, past performance claims, or requests for mailing list inclusion.
