Sales and compensating use taxes do not apply to materials and supplies incorporated into the project but do apply to leased equipment and tools. Monthly invoices are submitted after the third Monday of each month, with payments made on the first Tuesday of the following month at the Village Board of Trustees meeting. The Village reserves the right to withhold payment for unsatisfactory work performance and may terminate the contract upon ten days' written notice. A previous contractor, Dereck Fields, has held an identical contract from 2015 to present.
