About this file

This document is a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) for a sole-source contract to be awarded by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to the Armag Corporation for two custom-manufactured, mobile, armored magazines to be used as high-speed camera shelters on the FBI's Explosives Range Complex.

The FBI intends to negotiate a one-time, firm-fixed-price contract with the Armag Corporation, a small business, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, as the Armag Corporation is the only responsible source that can meet the agency's requirements. The NAICS code is 332311 (Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing) and the PSC is 5410 (Prefabricated and Portable Buildings). The FBI is requesting responses from interested parties by May 8, 2024, to determine if competition would be advantageous, but a decision not to compete this award is solely at the discretion of the government. No reimbursement will be provided for submitting capability information.
