About this file

This document is an Amendment (A002) to a solicitation (No. 191N6526R0003) issued by the American Embassy in New Delhi, providing clarifications for a procurement of specialized binding and boxing services for publications. The solicitation requires vendors to produce four product categories with specific material and sizing requirements: 1) Pecha Boxes in orange suede with screen printing, not exceeding 55 cm length and 10 cm width; 2) Periodicals with suede perfect binding and screen printing, not exceeding 60 cm in height/width; 3) Monographs with similar suede perfect binding specifications; and 4) Miscellaneous Boxes for scroll paintings and almanacs, not exceeding 23.5 x 30.5 x 3.5 inches. Common material specifications include acid-free paper, superior suede, buckram cloth, strong adhesive, and cotton/nylon/polyester thread.

Key submission details include proposals to be emailed to newdelhibids@state.gov by January 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM IST, with physical samples delivered to Gate 'C', Chandragupta Marg, New Delhi by the same deadline. SAM registration is mandatory under FAR regulations, and vendors must register under their legal entity name. The amendment addresses vendor questions about sample requirements, noting that no physical sample viewing will be provided prior to bid submission, and the specifications in the Statement of Work are considered sufficiently clear for experienced market vendors.
