About this file

The document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for NASA's SABER instrument project, part of the TIMED satellite mission. The primary objective is to provide knowledge transition and mentoring on the analysis of TIMED/SABER data, with a focus on supporting new members of the SABER science team. Key requirements include substantial mentoring on SABER algorithms, understanding the dataset's interrelationships, data product uncertainties, and scientific use, as well as preparing for the validation of Version 3 of the SABER dataset.

The performance will take place at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, MD, with a period of performance from March 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026. The SOW indicates this is a sole-source contract intended for Space Environment Technologies, LLC, to provide expert guidance and knowledge transfer to the new SABER science team members, including the new Principal Investigator (PI).
