This is a Services Agreement between the Dougherty County Board of Education (DCBOE) in Georgia and Education Farm, an Alabama nonprofit corporation, for the delivery of professional learning services centered on Apple technology integration in classroom settings. The Teacher Fellows Program is structured in three phases spanning from January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2024, with Phase I commencing on the effective date of January 1, 2022. The program is designed to equip 15 teacher fellows per 12-month cohort across five schools (three fellows per school) with tools, skills, and strategies for integrating Apple technology in both virtual and physical classroom environments. Services provided per 12-month fellowship include 70 hours of professional learning (35 hours per semester in virtual and face-to-face sessions), 16 hours of personalized instructional coaching cycles, 16 hours of customized school-wide professional learning for all faculty and staff, and 20 hours for the Future of Learning Summit held in Birmingham, Alabama with all travel, housing, and meals included. Education Farm will assign one dedicated Learning Innovation Coach to DCBOE for office hours, classroom observations, co-teaching, and professional coaching, and will provide access to Ed Farm Learn, a virtual professional learning community offering collaborative resources and learning opportunities.
DCBOE shall pay Education Farm a monthly fee of $6,875.00 throughout the term, with a total contract amount not to exceed $82,500.00 annually. Monthly invoices are due within thirty days of receipt, and DCBOE will reimburse Education Farm for all documented, pre-approved expenses incurred in performing the services. Education Farm retains ownership of all pre-existing materials and intellectual property rights to all programs, reports, curriculum, recordings, and other materials created under the agreement. The contract establishes an independent contractor relationship between the parties and includes standard provisions for termination for cause with thirty days' written notice, confidentiality obligations, and dispute resolution procedures. Either party may terminate the agreement if the other party materially breaches and fails to cure within thirty days of written notice, or upon insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings.
