About this file

This document provides instructions for calculating self-performed work for a federal contract opportunity to replace roofs at buildings 7, 11, 14, and 19 at the Amarillo Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The contractor must self-perform at least 50% of the work under an architecture and engineering services contract, 85% under a general construction contract, and 75% under a special trade construction contract to comply with limitations on subcontracting requirements. For the roof replacement project, which has a magnitude between $250,000 and $500,000, the contractor must calculate the percentage of work to be performed by VIP-listed service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and the percentage to be self-performed in accordance with the provided instructions. The contracting agency is the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 17 and the point of contact is Tammy Wilson, who can be reached by email. This is a 100% set-aside for verified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, which must be both visible and verified in the VetBiz VIP database prior to proposal submission to be deemed responsive.
