Questions and Answers Regarding Solicitation No. SEI300-14-Q-0001
Question: Please can you confirm that all I have to do on the SF1449 is sign it?
Answer: Please refer to Section 3, Solicitation Provisions, paragraph A.1 for instructions on completing the SF 1449.
Question: In section 1 Base period Prices we are to quote on a single shipment of 25,00lbs ? If it were say 4760 lbs the rate per 100lbs would be higher than that of a single shipment of 25,000lbs Answer: Please refer to Section 1, The Schedule, paragraph 4.1, Base Period Prices. At line items (a), (b) and (c)(1) the estimated annual quantity is set forth. The Base Period Prices should be based on the fact that the estimated total will be approximately 25,000 pounds.
Question: Under freight handling, do you mean the haulage from the port to the residence or a move of 5000lbs moved locally?
Answer: Please refer to Section 1, The Schedule, paragraph 4.1(d)(1), (2), (3), and (4) for initiation and destination points. For clarification purposes, Post refers to the U.S. Embassy Dublin, 42 Elgin Road, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge.
Question: I’m not quite sure what is meant in section 3 of that part Container cargo and the figure 15?
Answer: Please refer to Section 1, The Schedule, paragraph 4.1(d)(3) for providing the cost requested. The number 15 refers to an annual estimate of 15 cargo containers.
